Venus and the moon dance across the early morning sky

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – May 21, 22, and 23, 2017 Venus and the moon will appear together in the eastern sky just before sunrise. Mercury will also be visible at this time, but it is not as easy to see since it is close to the horizon. The moon will pass closest to Venus on the morning of May 22.
