Jacksonville City Council gains new face at swearing-in ceremony on Tuesday

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — Jacksonville City Council’s 2017 swearing-in ceremony commenced on Tuesday night.

Brian Jackson, Ward One Representative, was sworn into his new seat on the council.

Randy Thomas, Bob Warden, and Jerry Bittney resumed their seats on the council after winning re-election in November.

Each council member serves a four-year term.
