Greenville woman killed in Wednesday accident on Frog Level Road

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – A Greenville woman was killed in a two-car accident at the intersection of Frog Level Road and Masters Lane Wednesday, the Greenville Police Department said in a news release Friday.

Alice Malone, 33, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

Police said Malone was trying to turn left out of Masters Lane onto Frog Level Road and collided with a Jeep traveling northbound.

The driver of the Jeep, 38-year-old Travis Bolen of Greenville, was taken to Vidant Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

There were no passengers in either vehicle.

Police said the crash is still under investigation.

The accident temporarily forced the closure of Frog Level Road from Davenport Road to Dickinson Avenue.
