Greenville Police investigate an accident involving Fire/Rescue vehicle

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – The Greenville Police Department is investigating an accident involving a city fire and rescue vehicle.

It happened around 1 o’clock Wednesday afternoon on Arlington Boulevard and Memorial Drive.

The Greenville Police Department says a firefighter and driver of the other car were transported to the hospital. Both are expected to be ok. The firefighter was treated and released from the hospital a short time after the accident.

Greenville Police say the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
