Water leak forces temporary water shut off in Grifton

GRIFTON, N.C. (WNCT) – An emergency water leak in Grifton has forced the town to temporarily shut off the water.

The leak happened around 2 p.m. in the area of St. David Street.

Town officials say a crew is working hard to repair the issues as soon as possible.

The town hopes to have the water back on by 3 p.m.
