Seven chickens die in coop fire in Craven County.

NEW BERN, N.C. (WNCT) – Seven chickens pass away after their chicken coop catches fire. 
It happened around 8:30 Sunday evening in Craven County.
Firefighters say six baby chicks and 1 adult chicken were killed in the fire. Seven chickens survived the incident.
The coop is considered a total loss. A storage garage also suffered exterior damage from the fire.
Firefighters say it appears a heating lamp sparked the fire.
