Multiple crews respond to Stokes structure fire

STOKES, N.C. (WNCT) — Multiple crews responded to a structure fire on the 3100 block of Jerome Butler Road around 10 a.m. in Stokes Friday morning.

The fire has been put out, and the cause of the fire is not yet known.

The fire marshal told 9OYS the owner was not home, and they are working to identify the owner.

The winds made the fire difficult to put out, the fire marshal said.
