3 taken to hospital after rollover on Arlington Blvd.

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Three people were transported to the hospital with minor injuries Friday after a four-car accident on Arlington Boulevard, the Greenville Police Department said.

Officers said they responded around noon after a black Nissan Altima speeding in the left turn lane rear-ended a Toyota Corolla and pushed it off the road and into a bank parking lot.

The Nissan then rolled over and hit a third vehicle, which was pushed into a fourth car.

The driver of the Nissan, as well as the drivers of the Corolla and the third vehicle, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the Nissan has been cited with speeding, failure to avoid a collision and crossing over the center line.

The road was shut down for about 40 minutes between Stantonsburg and Emergency Drive.
