Reward offered for Kings Restaurant burglary in Kinston

KINSTON, N.C. (WNCT) – Lenoir County Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest.

The Kinston Police Department is investigating a burglary call that happened on Monday, Dec. 5 at Kings Restaurant on Vernon Avenue.

Police say the suspect or suspects used a ladder to gain access to the roof of the business, and then entered the building through the vent system.

Once inside, a hole was cut into the safe and an undisclosed amount of cash was taken, along the security recording device.   The wires to the security system were also cut.

Lenoir County Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,500 reward for the arrest of the suspect or suspects in this case.
