Onslow Co. couple wanted on heroin, meth charges arrested in Va.

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – A husband and wife charged with trafficking methamphetamine and selling heroin in the Jacksonville and Richlands area were arrested in Virginia Thursday.

Tyler Davis, 27, and Brittany Davis, 24, both face numerous charges relating to the trafficking and sale of heroin and methamphetamine.

Onslow County detectives said they began investigating the Davises in April, but the Davises learned of the investigation and fled the state to avoid prosecution.

On December 1, narcotics detectives with the Twin County Drug Task Force arrested the couple in Cana, Virginia.

The Davises were transported and booked in the New River Valley Regional Jail where they are being detained without bail and are awaiting extradition back to Onslow County.
