Fire crews respond to mobile home fire

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT)- Fire crews responded to a mobile home fire in Pitt County Wednesday night.

It happened around 9:00 p.m. on Grace Street.

Four adults and six kids were inside at the time.

Fire crews on scene tell WNCT the people inside were using candles and fell asleep. They woke up and the house was on fire.

The family has been displaced. The Red Cross is assisting them.

Winterville Rural Fire Department and Eastern Pines Fire Department responded.
