Pink Hill Police arrest two additional people in connection to Sunday murder

PINK HILL, N.C. (WNCT) — Pink Hill Police have arrested two more people in connection to the murder of 56-year-old Garry Lee Spitzer. Pink Hill Police Chief Joey Thigpen says Phoebe Morgan and Eugene McDonald were arrested Friday in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.

Morgan is Katey Millican’s mother. Millican was arrested on Monday and charged with murder. Millican and Spitzer were at one time in a relationship and have a child together. Both Morgan and McDonald are now charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder. They are awaiting extradition from Alabama.
