The next night (November 19th), two black males entered the Fountain Community Store and robbed it at gun point. The two subjects were similarly in appearance to the subjects that robbed the Speedway.

On Monday, November 21, additional surveillance video was collected. A review of surveillance footage was able to determine that the vehicle was similar to that seen at Joyner’s Store.  With that information, a BOLO was put out for the vehicle to local law enforcement agencies on November 21, 2016.  In the early morning hours of November 22nd, 2016 a vehicle fitting the description of the robbery suspects was observed by the Greenville Police Department.  The suspect fled from the officers and was eventually caught near Bethel, NC.

Dectives from the Sheriff’s Office responded and continued to investigate the cases and people located in the vehicle.  The subjects located with the car were James Everette and Joquisha Andrews.  A third subject was identified as Bobby Worthington Jr.  Charges were obtained against all three subjects.  The USMS Fugitive Task Force arrested Bobby Worthington in Edgecombe County.

These subjects are still under investigation and more charges may be forthcoming for crimes committed outside Pitt County.
