GPD investigating robbery of Walgreens

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Greenville Police is investigating a robbery that happened at the Walgreens on S. Memorial Drive around midnight Friday.

According to police, a suspect passed a note to the cashier and demanded money. The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured, and police didn’t know whether the suspect actually had a weapon.

Police are now reviewing surveillance cameras to try to catch the person responsible.
