Former NFL player keynote speaker for 10th Annual Lung Cancer Awareness Dinner

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – It’s a startling statistic. Lung cancer is one of the deadliest forms of cancer, claiming more lives annually than colon, breast, prostate, and kidney cancer combined.

And Tuesday night, Vidant Health is bringing awareness to the deadly disease which doctors diagnose nearly a dozen patients with a day with its 10th Annual Vidant Lung Cancer Awareness Dinner. One of the main reasons for the event is to celebrate survivors of lung cancer.

Former NFL player Chris Draft, who lost his young wife to lung cancer, will be the keynote speaker for the event.

Tune in tonight beginning at 5 for more from the event with a complete wrap up at 10 and 11.
