College Application Week kicks off statewide

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – North Carolina’s College Application Week kicked off Monday morning.

The statewide event runs through Friday, Nov. 18.

The week-long event is designed to give high school seniors extra help as they apply to college by allowing time during the school day for seniors to fill out their admission applications.

This week, select colleges and universities will waive their application fees for students who qualify for College Board, ACT and NACAC fee waivers; some colleges have even agreed to waive the application fee altogether.
