2 uninjured following Greene Co. plane crash

SNOW HILL, N.C. (WNCT) – Officials are on the scene of an early morning plane crash in Greene County.

It happened just before 6 a.m. near 3012 Oakdale Road. That’s according to Shine Fire & EMS, which said that’s when and where units were sent after the reported crash.

Units responding to the scene found 2 uninjured passengers from the small aircraft which was upside down in a field.

Greene County Emergency Management, the NTSB, and the FAA were all notified and are investigating.

Officials advise caution when driving through the area as they continue to work the scene.
