2 voter machines tampered with in Lenoir County precints

KINSTON, N.C. (WNCT) – Two voter machines in Lenoir County have been tampered with, Kinston Police said.

One machine was damaged at the Carver Courts precinct, while the other was damaged at the Holloway Recreation Center precinct.

The subjects tampered with the printer box and one of the locks was broken so the printer had to be replaced.

Kinston police said they have no suspects at this time, and the damage to the machines was valued at $500.
