Veteran’s Day activities across the east

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Veteran’s day is November 11, but some cities across Eastern North Carolina will be hosting activities today.

In jacksonville there will be a veterans parade starting at nine o’clock this morning and will run till noon.

Also in Morehead City, one of the state’s biggest and best veterans day parades begins at 11 o’clock a.m.

Guest are invited to stay after the parade to enjoy a barbecue lunch under the live oaks at the First Presbyterian Church. Anyone is welcome to this dinner. It is six dollars for adults and three dollars for kids. Of course veterans eat for free.
