Police: Arrest made in weekend murder in Tarboro

TARBORO, N.C. (WNCT) – Tarboro Police make an arrest in the October murder of Reginald Alston.

Police say 20-year-old Darius Council was arrested at a motel near Rocky Mount Thursday morning.

Council is wanted for the October 23rd death of Reginald Alston at the Pender Square Apartments in Tarboro.

Council faces multiple charges including First Degree Murder.

He was taken to the Edgecombe County Detention Center and given no bond.

Tarboro Police say they also arrested Moleshia Moody. Police say the 20 year old acquaintance of Council was  charged with  Accessory After the Fact. She was also taken to the Edgecombe County Detention Center and given a $25,000 bond.
