ECU students meet potential employers at health career fair

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Hundreds of East Carolina University students got a first look at potential employers today at a health career fair.

More than 30 health care companies and organizations, including Vidant, the UNC-Health Care system and Carolina’s Health Care, were in attendance at booths to discuss internships and possible positions with students.

Companies said even if you’re not graduating soon, it’s always best to put your name out there, and university officials said it is important for students to learn what employers are looking for.

In the past, 57 percent of students walked away from the event with full-time job offers.
