GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – With Halloween out of the way, the annual Pitt Community College Down East Holiday Show is one of the first harbingers of the Christmas season.
Ashley Smith, director of alumni and developmental services, said this is their biggest fundraiser of the year and expects it to bring in more than $100,000.
More than 180 vendors set up everything from decorations to food.
This is the first year for 31 vendors, but Smith said there’s one person who always brings in the biggest crowd.
“Santa Claus, he is always a big attraction, and he starts coming on Friday,” said Smith. “He will be here from 2 to 5 p.m. on Friday. Then he comes again on Saturday and Sunday.”
WNCT is a proud sponsor of the holiday show
The opening special shopping event — for adults only — begins at 5:30 Thursday at the Greenville Convention Center.
