N.C. officials hold preliminary flood map session for Craven Co. residents

NEW BERN, N.C. (WNCT) – North Carolina Emergency Management held a public comment session for Craven County residents Wednesday wishing to dispute preliminary flood maps.

The maps were released in June and have Craven County at an increased flooding risk.

That means flood insurance premiums could go up for some residents.
