Vidant holds holiday celebration for children in hospital

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Some children aren’t able to go door to door this year because they’re in the hospital, but they didn’t have to miss out on the fun.

Monday afternoon, staff at   Vidant Children’s Hospital dressed up in costumes and set up booths for the children to take their minds off being a patient and get back to just being a kid.

“It’s really nice that we can have something like this that we can still enjoy and not risk his health,” said Amanda Disney, a mom of a patient.

The staff also voted on best booth and best costume.
