Two Duplin men named in 25-person ‘violent drug trafficking’ indictment

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCT) – Two Duplin County men were allegedly part of violent drug trafficking organization, according to a federal indictment by the United States Attorney’s Office that names a total of 25 people in and around Sampson County.

Federal officials said a wiretap investigation in Sampson County led to a 49-count indictment for conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, continuing criminal enterprise, money laundering and firearm offenses.

Bryan Carr of Rose Hill and Derrell Wilson of Warsaw were both named in the indictment.
