GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – The Pitt County Council on Aging is releasing a 2017 calendar with older adults doing young-people activities to raise money for a local program.
Months include getting a tattoo, texting and even riding a motorcycle.
Carolyn Jackson participated in the calendar photo shoot, and she said it was one of the best days she had.
“They asked me to just go ahead and pose and act like I was catching butterflies,” Jackson said. “So I just went out there, and I had the butterfly net, and I just started dancing …They had the music going, and I was just dancing and doing my thing.”
If you would like to buy the calendar, they are $15 dollars at the Council on Aging with all the proceeds going to the Meals on Wheels program.
