Kids trick or treat ‘Under the Sea’ at Pine Knoll Shores aquarium

PINE KNOLL SHORES, N.C. (WNCT) – Halloween might be five days away, but it’s not stopping trick-or-treaters from getting in the spirit a little early.

Trick or Treat Under the Sea is an annual event hosted by the Pine Knoll Shores aquarium.

Children can enjoy the marine life at the aquarium while also getting sweet treats from the nearly 20 area businesses at the event.

Six-year-old Jimmy Burdick dressed up as a character from Minecraft.

“my favorite part about Halloween is getting all the candy,” said Jimmy.

The event also has a maze and costume contest.

It runs until 7:30 Thursday night.
