AMBER Alert cancelled for missing Northampton Co. girl

WOODLAND, N.C. (WNCT) – An AMBER Alert issued Monday morning for a missing 12-year-old girl in Northampton County has been cancelled.

The Department of Public Safety reports Zahreiah Moni-Symone Gilliam was found safe.

She was last seen in the area of East Main Street in Woodland.

Sheriff Jack Smith says Zahreiah’s grandma returned home around 6:30 last night. Zahreiah was playing outside.

When the grandmother went inside, she turned around and Zahreiah was gone.
