(2) West Craven slips by (1) Havelock, 28-21 in completion of suspended game

HAVELOCK (WNCT) – West Craven quarterback Jarred Arthur raced 14-yards for a touchdown late in the 4th quarter for the winning score as the Eagles beat Havelock, 28-21.

The game actually started back on October 8th and was suspended at halftime with the Eagles leading the Rams, 7-0.

Arthur threw a touchdown pass on 4th and goal from the 2-yard line with just less than 7 minutes to play to tie the game at 21-21.

West Craven will take over as the top team in the area in WNCT-TV’s Touchdown Friday Top 9. Havelock was the pre-season number one team and had held that position all season long.
