U.S. 70 corridor in Kinston reopens to all traffic

KINSTON, N.C. (WNCT) – Traffic is flowing again along U.S. 70 in Kinston after flooding shut down the highway last week.

On Tuesday, business owners in Kinston were allowed access to their businesses along the U.S. 70 corridor at noon. Around 2 p.m. the roadway reopened to all traffic.

Police say there is a curfew in the city of Kinston from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. in the areas affected by flooding only. All other areas of the city are not under a curfew.
