Dogs rescued during Hurricane Matthew getting forever homes

CLEVELAND, O.H. (WNCT) – 16 dogs who were rescued before Hurricane Matthew hit in South Carolina are now going to find forever homes in Ohio.

The Cleveland Animal Protective League took the dogs from South Carolina. The dogs had been rescued by local shelters in South Carolina because they were homeless.

However, after Matthew hit, many shelters became crowded with pets, and needed to free up space.
