JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Onslow County Emergency Services announced Saturday night that due to high winds and flooding they will not be responding to calls unless it is a life-threatening condition.

Onslow County citizens should stay off roadways until 7 a.m. Sunday, according to Onslow County government.

Dozens of roads in the county are impassable due to flooding and downed power lines and trees.

Roads will not be cleared until midnight, officials said.
