GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Overnight in Greenville, crews were out responding to people in stalled cars.
Local tow truck companies said they’ve been at it since the storm hit Saturday night.
9 On Your Side spoke with tow truck driver Todd Gaskins just after midnight Sunday. He said his phone was ringing off the hook.
“Right around the 20 range and we’re still pulling them out,” commented Todd Gaskins, Ayden Towing and Recovery. “We are getting ready to get the one right behind me. It’s just an ongoing process. I think it’s gonna take a while to get them all out.”
Gaskins said he expects to get calls today from insurance companies about flooded cars and others stranded in the area.
