ECU Football team stuck in transit, Coach Mo Show cancelled

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Due to Hurricane Matthew’s impact in the east, the East Carolina football team was unable to return to Greenville following its Saturday football game in Tampa.

The team flew out of Tampa following their 38-22 loss against South Florida.

However, due to heavy rains and winds in the east caused by Hurricane Matthew, the Pirate’s plane was diverted to Richmond.

The team then boarded busses to drive back to Greenville.

However, I-95 was closed, once again due to Hurricane Matthew, forcing the team to stay in hotels in Roanoke Rapids.

Thus, because the team could not arrive in Greenville, we are unfortunately unable to broadcast the Coach Mo TV Show on WNCT at 11:30 am Sunday.

The show will air on our CW station at 2:00am Monday morning, and will also be available on Monday at
