BREAKING: Two people die in NC in submerged vehicle


CLARKTON, NC (WNCT) – Hurricane Matthew has claimed the lives of two people in North Carolina.

North Carolina Highway Patrol tells WNCT two people died in a submerged vehicle in Bladen County on Saturday after it got caught in rushing water.

It happened on Rosindale Road near Old Tram Road.

Three people were in the car, and one person made it out alive. Authorities are unable to reach the car due to high rushing water.
