NEW BERN, N.C. (WNCT) – The City of New Bern announces partial road closures.

The city says several roads, known to flood,  will be barricaded off as water continue to rise due to tidal changes, wind, and rain. Once the water recedes the barricades will come down.

Some of the areas impacted are the south side of Union Point Park, the east side of Lawson Creek Park, and Oaks Road at Jack Smith Creek.
