Deputies looking for missing Elizabeth City teen

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WNCT) The Pasquotank County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a missing teen.

Deputies are looking for 16-year-old Christian Carawan of Elizabeth City.

The sheriff’s office says Carawan was reported missing on Oct. 5th around 11:30p.m.

He was last seen in the area of the 900 block of Scott Road after walking away from his house. Deputies say after leaving his home Carawan got picked up and told a friend he was not returning.

Carawan is described as a white male standing 5’10 with short brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing white shorts, a black “Batman” t-shirt, knee high socks, and tennis shoes.

Deputies believe the teen may be in Currituck County.
