GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Hundreds of people turned out to the 4th annual Latino Festival Saturday.
Food, crafts and art work from cultures all over the world were on display.
Organizers with the event said the purpose is for people to take advantage of learning different cultures as well as networking with the community.
Residents in the latino community said they hope when people visit they are getting a ‘snid bit’ of what their culture means to them.
Visitors like Todd Mulkey were taking it all in.
“You didn’t know what this was earlier and now you know it’s an amazing mango drink and so it just one of those things that brightens your life and expands your borders and just helps you relate with other people,” said Mulkey.
Organizer Juvecino Rocha said this is an event he hopes to continue in years to come.
