Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police to release remaining footage in Keith Scott case



CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WNCT)- The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department will release the remaining dash and body cam footage in the officer-involved shooting of Keith Scott.

On Friday, the department tweeted it would release the remaining footage next week after Scott’s family reviews it. According to the department, Scott’s family requested the footage be released to the public.

An officer shot and killed Scott just blocks from UNC Charlotte earlier this month. His death sparked protests across the city, calling for police accountability.
