Pitt Co. Sheriff’s Office arrests 3 in overnight home invasion

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two men and one woman deputies said broke into a home and robbed a Greenville couple.

Quatez Acklin, 19; Deitra Clark, 27; and Aaron Turner, 18, all of Greenville, have been charged armed robbery, burglary and two counts of kidnapping.

Deputies said the suspects broke into the home of Thomas and Theresa Keith in the 2400 block of Hilltop Road in Hardee Acres between midnight and 1 a.m.

One suspect held a gun to Thomas Keith’s head and forced him to drive to a Bank of America ATM and withdraw $1,000 in cash, while his wife was held hostage until they returned, deputies said.

According to warrants, the suspects also stole over $500 in wrapped coins and two guns.
