Men wanted for questioning in Greenville sexual assault


GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Police need your help to identify the persons of interest in a reported sexual assault.

The Greenville Police Department said officers responded to Vidant Medical Center for the reported incident around 3 p.m. Saturday, September 17th.

The victim told them she’d been downtown the previous evening and received a ride from a group of men around 2 a.m. She said that during the ride, she was sexually assaulted by one of them.

After a review of downtown surveillance cameras, detectives identified several persons of interest in the case. They were seen with the victim in a dark-colored Toyota 4 Runner with oversized tires.
