Police: Greenville man arrested in Washington hotel robbery


WASHINGTON, N.C. (WNCT) – Police have arrested a man in connection with an armed robbery at a Washington hotel.

It happened Tuesday evening around 11:30 p.m. at the Quality Inn located on Carolina Avenue.

33-year-old David Paul Crandol of Greenville was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and safecracking. He’s in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $100,000 bond pending a court appearance.

Officers said no one was injured in the incident and the investigation is ongoing.
