GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Hillary Clinton’s campaign for president is making a stop in Greenville on Thursday evening.
Former Maryland Governor and former Democratic presidential candidate Martin O’Malley will campaign for Clinton at East Carolina University.
He’s planning to meet with students and talk about Clinton’s New College Compact plan.
The plan would ensure that families with income up to $125,000 pay no tuition at in-state public colleges and universities. Clinton’s campaign says it would benefit up to 122,000 North Carolinian students at four-year institutions.
The college affordability discussion is happening at Fletcher Music Hall on ECU’s campus at 6pm.
Gov. O’Malley will also make stops in Elizabeth City and Mooresville.
