ECU to host program on sexual violence

GREENVILLE, NC (WNCT) – East Carolina University is hosting a program Wednesday to explore the impact sexual violence has on the community, and it will feature a reading of the statement written by the woman sexually assaulted at Stanford University in January.

Following the reading, there will be a panel comprised of victims of sexual assault, counselors, ECU police, and Pitt County Justice System representatives.

The program, “To Girls Everywhere, I Am With You,” will take place at 7 p.m. at Wright Auditorium.
