Duplin Co. Schools, James Sprunt CC closing at noon Tuesday

KENANSVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — Duplin County Schools and James Sprunt Community College are closing at noon on Tuesday in anticipation of Donald Trump’s rally Tuesday.

Dawn Craft with Duplin County Schools says all schools will close by noon on Tuesday so that their buses make it home safely. High amounts of traffic are expected in the area.

According to the James Sprunt Community College website, the main campus and West Park campus will close at noon due to safety reasons and the overflow of traffic.

Doors to the Trump rally open at 2 p.m. and Trump is expected to take the stage at 5 p.m. at the Duplin County Events Center.
