NC drops lawsuit against Dept. of Justice over HB2

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCT) – North Carolina has dropped a law suit against the Department of Justice.

The suit was filed earlier this year in response to a DOJ lawsuit, which demanded the state explain how it would enforce House Bill 2.

Gov. Pat McCrory said his office dropped the lawsuit in order to consolidate the legal efforts of the state.
