GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – At this month’s Republican Women of Pitt County meeting, members said they support Governor McCrory’s position on House Bill 2.
For one Greenville resident, she said businesses need to support the traditional ways and that this is North Carolina’s future.
“It’s important to talk about these things, important to talk about these issues,” said Christina Ruotolo, Republican Women of Pitt County. “Everything else is talked about, so why not talk about this too? This is important this is the future of our children.”
Ruotolo said she does not feel that HB2 will affect McCrory’s chance on the ballot this upcoming election.
She said the Republican Women of Pitt County will continue to support his decision.
