Chocowinity Police investigate three business break-ins

CHOCOWINITY, N.C. (WNCT) – The Chocowinity Police Department is asking for the public’s help finding the person(s) responsible for multiple break-ins at local businesses.

Police say the incidents happened during the early morning hours on Wednesday.

Police say the suspect(s) gained access to Hwy 55 and Mi Amor’s Pizzeria by breaking the glass front doors.  During the break-ins, investigators say an undisclosed amount cash was taken.

Chocowinity Police say a third business, Modlin’s Seafood, was also broken into in the same manner.

Anyone with information on these crimes is asked to call Beaufort County Crime Stoppers at (252) 947-6400.
