Dare County Narcotics Task Force arrests two men on felony cocaine charges

KITTY HAWK (WNCT) – The Dare County Narcotics Task Force arrested two men Friday suspected of transporting cocaine to Dare County from Elizabeth City with intent to sell.

According to a news release, the task force received information Friday about the individuals, which was then used to identify a vehicle at a McDonalds in Kitty Hawk. The task force took the men into custody and found cocaine and Xanax in their possession.

Brandon Dashiell and Treshon Walker of Elizabeth City are being held at the Dare County Detention Center, and they both face charges of felony possession with intent to sell cocaine as well as a controlled substance.

Dashiell is being held in lieu of $15,000 bail. Walker, who also faces charges of maintaining a vehicle to transport the drugs and for conspiring to sell them, is being held in lieu of $20,000 bail.
