14 arrested in second and third rounds of ‘Operation Hourglass’

BEAUFORT, N.C. (WNCT) – Fourteen more people have been rounded up by local law enforcement as part of ‘Operation Hourglass’.

The operation is a collaborative effort between law enforcement agencies that targets persons involved in the illegal sell and delivery of narcotics.

The following individuals were arrested and charged as part of rounds two and three:

Cynthia Ann Greeson, 51 – 133 Croatan Dr., Newport Bond: $15,000 secured
One count – possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a methamphetamine; one count – manufacture methamphetamine; one count – sell methamphetamine; one count – deliver methamphetamine.

Whitney Autumn Ireland, 32 – 665 Parkertown Rd., Hubert Bond: $5,000 secured
One count –possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance; one count – sell a schedule II controlled substance; one count – deliver a schedule II controlled substance.

Tess Foreman Jacobs, 45 – 352 Chatham St., Newport Bond: $25,000 secured
One count – possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a methamphetamine; one count – manufacture methamphetamine; one count – sell methamphetamine; one count – deliver methamphetamine; one count – possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance; one count – sell a schedule II controlled substance; one count – deliver a schedule II controlled substance; one count – maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for a controlled substance.

Kimberly Renee Melville, 45 – 304 Lake Rd., Newport
Bond: $30,000 secured
Two counts – possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance; one count – possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule IV controlled substance.

Scott Michael Nielson, 27 – 155 Gardner School Rd., Stantonsburg
Bond: $75,000 secured
Ten counts – trafficking, opium or heroin; one count – maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for a controlled substance.

Jerry Wayne Willis, 43 – 806 Northgate Rd., Morehead City
Bond: $50,000 secured
Two counts – maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for a controlled substance; one count – possession of firearm by felon; one count – possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver heroin; one count – manufacture a schedule I controlled substance; one count – possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance; one count – manufacture a schedule II controlled substance; one count – sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance; one count – possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule III controlled substance; one count – manufacture a schedule III controlled substance; one count – possession of drug paraphernalia.

Desmond Rashaun Bennett, 27 – 449 McCotter Blvd., Havelock Bond: $20,000 secured Five counts – conspire to sell and deliver heroin; two counts – possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver heroin; two counts – manufacture a schedule I controlled substance; two counts – sell heroin; two counts – deliver heroin; one count – maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for a controlled substance.

Aryanna Marquise Carter, 21 – 665 East Chatham St., Newport Bond: $24,000 secured
Eight counts – conspire to sell and deliver heroin; four counts – possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver heroin; four counts – manufacture a schedule I controlled substance; four counts – sell heroin; four counts – deliver heroin; one count – maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for a controlled substance; one count – misdemeanor child abuse.

Walter Rex Herring, III, 33 – 1536 Bridges Rd., Kinston Bond: $50,000 secured
Two counts – conspire to sell and deliver heroin; two counts – sell methamphetamine; one count – possession with intention to manufacture, sell and deliver methamphetamine; one count – manufacture methamphetamine; one count – conspire to sell methamphetamine; one count – conspire to deliver methamphetamine; one count – possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver heroin; one count – manufacture a schedule I controlled substance; one count – sell heroin; one count – deliver heroin.

John Hurst, Jr., 50 – 426 Oregon Trl, Hubert Bond: $10,000 secured
One count – possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance; one count – sell a schedule II controlled substance; one count – deliver a schedule II controlled substance; one count – maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for a controlled substance.

Marlena Carolyn Morissette, 36 – 940 Hwy 24, Newport Bond: $5,000 secured
One count – possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance; one count – conspire to sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance; one count – sell a schedule II controlled substance; one count – deliver a schedule II controlled substance; one count – maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for a controlled substance.

William Cobb Moss, 66 – 1206 Fisher St., Morehead City Bond: $7,500 secured
One count – possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule IV controlled substance; one count – manufacture a schedule IV controlled substance; one count – sell a schedule IV controlled substance; one count – deliver a schedule IV controlled substance; one count – maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for a controlled substance.

Marvin Christopher Powers, 55 – 611 Charlotte Ave., Carolina Beach Bond: $1,000,000 secured
Five counts – conspire to traffic opium or heroin; five counts – trafficking opium or heroin.

James Felton Sessoms, 47 – 194 VFW Rd., Cedar Point Bond: $5,000 secured
One count – possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance; one count – sell a schedule II controlled substance; one count – deliver a schedule II controlled substance.
